About 20 years ago, I actually got to know Paul van Wetten's real estate agency for the first time. In those twenty years, I have come to know him as an honest and reliable person where the interests of his clients always come first and he spares no effort to satisfy his customers. If they were all that honest and genuine. Paul, on behalf of my wife, my daughter and myself, class act from you and you may be proud of it, our heartfelt thanks for that.

Honest advice

Gave a bizarre low valuation of the property I wanted to buy, resulting in me being unable to get a mortgage and attempted to sell a house he himself had for sale to me. Fortunately, another appraiser then provided a normal appraisal report, allowing me to still purchase the property. Now several years later, Wetten makelaardij has been engaged as a buyer's agent by people with an interest in my property and unfortunately, for these people and for myself, history seems to be repeating itself! Several agents have assessed the value of my property and come up around 180000, while Wetten dares to appraise it at 165000 !!!! Quite a difference, don't you think?? And that’s not even mentioning the very unprofessional attitude!

After having made a non-binding appointment, we never received any further information regarding our real estate. An evaluation was carried out by a grumpy-looking realtor who seemed to focus mainly on leaving the property as quickly as possible. Also noteworthy was the claim that the aforementioned brokerage had already sold the property several times in the past. This was nonsense. Overall, a very elevated impression was made, without any strong points compared to other agencies in the region. They are the most expensive in terms of commission and effectively have exactly the same approach for a higher price. Do not be misled by an illusion of quality or expertise. I hope this was purely incidental, but it certainly leaves doubts about the professionalism of this brokerage.
