We hebben Marc leren kennen in zijn rol als verkopend makelaar en hadden meteen een goed gevoel. Hoe hij ons tips gaf voor het aankopen van een woning waren zeer helpend. Toen we een aankoopmakelaar zochten hebben we direct met hem contact gezocht. De afspraken en daarbij behorende kosten waren duidelijk en overzichtelijk. Het contact met Roos en Marc was goed en ze konden ons altijd te woord staan, ook op de korte termijn. Bij alle woningen waar we interesse in hadden gaf Marc ons een eerlijke en duidelijke opsomming van de voors- en tegens. Met zijn ervaring heeft dat ons geholpen bij mogelijk een slechte aankoop voor onze situatie. Ook bij de woning die we uiteindelijk gekocht hebben, hebben Marc en Roos zich ingespannen om het rond te krijgen. Van het begin tot het eind bij de notaris (en zelfs erna), voelen we ons gezien en hebben ze ons goed geholpen. Nu wonen we met heel veel plezier in de woning die we wilde. Bedankt voor alles! Na meerdere offertes van makelaars in verband met de verkoop van mijn woning, viel mijn keuze op Marc en Roos Abelen en hun team. Daar heb ik geen spijt van gekregen. Laagdrempelig bereikbaar, vakbekwaam, concurrerend in prijs, ondersteunend en ontzorgend in het tot nu toe vlot verlopende verkoopproces. Ik ben, kortom, zeer tevreden over de dienstverlening van hen.

Marc is a real estate agent you should not trust! Unfortunately, Marc has allowed situations to arise that have led to unnecessarily high costs on our side. It was later indicated that certain actions originated from agreements with his client, but there was no clear written agreement or confirmation available beforehand. This gave Marc the chance to deceive us and put us in financial costs. I would like to advise others to always fully and written record all agreements with this party before work is carried out. Verbal promises and emails proved to be insufficient in this case. Mr. knows exactly how to deceive unsuspecting consumers. Transparency and clear documentation are essential to protect yourself.

In my experience, the cooperation with Abelen Makelaars unfortunately turned out to be very disappointing. On multiple occasions I was assured that “everything was in order” and that the signature would follow soon. However, at the last moment the deal was however cancelled in a particularly unexpected and unclear manner. Despite repeated assurances that there were no other serious parties involved and that nothing could go wrong, this did not turn out to be the case. Moreover, I had a strong feeling that the responsibility was completely placed on me as the customer, while the real estate agent did not take any responsibility for the agreements made and the expectations raised. I experienced this as unprofessional. Promises were retracted and communication remained regular, including a period of two days during which I received no response. When I subsequently asked critical questions—which in a normal purchasing process is not more than usual—I was told that this would be the reason why the seller had withdrawn. However, certainty is essential for both parties, and transparent communication goes without saying. This approach has led to unnecessary uncertainty and time loss. Based on my experience, I advise future buyers to pay close attention and choose a party that places reliability, clarity and professionalism high on its agenda. Response following answers to the review; There was, as I already indicated in my previous message, no agreement. We have trusted your words: “The signature will come directly as soon as the mortgage declaration is in. There are also no other parties involved.” You have also emailed me about this (see attachment). These were the clear statements from Marc. When we then received no further response from you, we contacted your office multiple times by phone. However, you were completely unreachable for two days. It is therefore not proper that we have been kept on the line like this. We also incurred costs with various parties to obtain the necessary mortgage declaration—and that declaration was eventually provided. You may act legally according to the rules, but in terms of honesty and conscience absolutely not. I take this very seriously; it does not do credit to you or your office. Moreover, you were aware that a viewing was scheduled and that there was another interested party, but this information was deliberately withheld. You only picked up the phone when the other party had already signed. We find this outright scandalous. People don’t let you get away with that! Pay attention!
