Boshem handled our appraisal and it was a real pleasure. Contact was through John Balk and was very pleasant. Scheduling, appraising, and receiving a neat appraisal report took less than a week. Maybe lucky, but we are very happy with it. And at a healthy rate too! I wholeheartedly recommend this brokerage.

Nilda helped me tremendously with a rental property. She understood my needs by listening to my wishes and was therefore able to make a good match with the landlord.

Every year the maximum rent increase but 0 maintenance on my property. Not answering questions is standard. Noise nuisance from the neighbor for whom they are involved in a lawsuit but cannot get rid of her by any means. But soundproofing is then not possible. To the question when there will be maintenance, the answer is 'some other time, no money'. But you have been charging maximum rent for years.... Questions whether I want to pay extra because energy is expensive... Is all this allowed just like that? But then no maintenance performed.... Everything in the property is already 20 years out of date. Open sockets, boiler breaks down repeatedly, unstable and unsafe staircase. Holes in the window frame where drafts come through. Loose tiles in the living room. But apparently this is all considered normal. But still asking if I can collect evidence for their lawsuit. Welcome to the world of a tenant in the Netherlands.

Terrible experience with this company. Agreements were made and signed during the final inspection. The same day, these were changed without consultation and half of your deposit was withheld. They are not willing to look for a solution.

Mr. Balk came by for an appraisal. It went very quickly, he was very friendly and because he knew there was some time pressure, he delivered the report super fast. The value also matched the expectation.

I would like to share my experiences regarding John Balk of Boshem Taxaties. A few years ago I first approached John to perform an appraisal on our home. The price/quality ratio was highly praised online. Pleasant contact from the very beginning. John is realistic in managing expectations, clearly explains how the steps of the appraisal process look and delivers a high-quality report quickly. Both times I have been able to use this report in my discussions with the bank. For these reasons, I can wholeheartedly recommend John and would myself, if necessary in the future, like to continue using his services.

I do not recommend it.

Real estate agency includes unlawful provisions in the rental agreement. After raising this issue, I have never heard back why these provisions were included in the contract (it appears at the request of the landlord, because they neither confirmed nor denied it). Furthermore, I received poor assistance. Multiple times promises were made that I would be called back with a good explanation and/or solution, unfortunately, contact was never made.

Invited for a viewing on the Huizerweg in Bussum and necessary documents provided. Neatly waited for a response. Received no updates via phone or email. Requested updates multiple times as requested, to wait for it. Subsequently, you see online that the apartment is under option and another candidate has been chosen. You are kept on hold by this company.

I am very pleased with the service from Boshem, especially with ROBIN, who handled my process. She was very professional, understanding, efficient and always attentive to all my questions. She supported me from the apartment viewings up to the signing of the contract. All in all, thank you very much Robin. I would recommend Robin 100%, because she has made the process in all phases very easy for me. 5/5!

Treated us as tenants scandalously. Very unfriendly and unprofessional communication, making sneaky agreements behind our backs and frankly disregarding our interests. These people are likely very charming to those bringing in money, but existing tenants are only a burden and that is made abundantly clear. I will NEVER do business with this party. Terrible. The seller of our house also regretted the collaboration after hearing how we (and other tenants) were treated.

As long as you bring money to the jar, you are his best friend. They have no regard for others. Unfortunately involved with this party. I will never do business with them.
