De 1e indruk was goed, de presentatie op Funda was goed met mooie foto’s. De vraagprijs was heel hoog ingezet, waardoor het lang duurde voor de woning verkocht was. De communicatie van de makelaar zelf was slecht, alles via what’s app voice berichten, slecht bereikbaar, afspraken niet nakomen en al het initiatief kwam van mij. It is certainly a nice real estate agent if you want to sell your own house, but don't get into bed with them if you care about your fellow human beings (buyers). In our case, the terms were suddenly changed unilaterally, two weeks after a verbal agreement. This caused us a lot of headaches and extra costs. All this under the guidance of no understanding whatsoever and terrible communication, including not returning calls (after promising to return them). This caused us to be on the verge of withdrawing as a buyer, after we had already been hanging on the line for three weeks as 'buyers'. Also as a seller, it's nice not to be caught off guard. I doubt this real estate agent can guarantee that. I would certainly never sell my house with this real estate agent. Remarkably enough, the property is still listed as 'Sold subject to conditions' on Funda, 9 months after handover...

In my now disheartened search for a new home, I decided to look for a buyer's agent. Broker Idee scored (along with some others) very highly and quickly contacted me for an exploratory meeting at the office; that may sound very logical, but this was the first potential buyer broker who wanted to sit down with me directly. Most people start with phone calls, which is less personal. Of all the conversations I've had, I felt most with Andre that he would pull out all the stops to advocate for you; his network is also naturally very large, so he could advise me well even outside of Groningen. And finally, not unimportant, they also offer financial advice, allowing him to really think along about what is financially feasible. In terms of payment, there are also more options than with others.
