We did a viewing with my father, we were the very first. Then went home and immediately offered the asking price. This was not done through the real estate agent themselves; I just had to send an email to info@... Since it was the first time I had bid on a house, I would have preferred to speak to someone on the phone. Afterwards, I received no confirmation and heard nothing for 5 days. Which I find quite strange. Especially since it's a lot of money, right? After I got tired of waiting, I just called myself. I was told that the real estate agent would call me back at a later time. I was called, the real estate agent didn't even remember my name or who I was and enthusiastically told me he had sold the house. I don't think it could be more impersonal. What if I wanted to offer more? Or made a counteroffer? In any case, it’s only because I called myself, and that I heard there were higher bids. Otherwise, I would have just heard nothing at all. I was only allowed to make an offer after a viewing. But they didn't want to show the property and therefore a viewing wasn't possible. This doesn't seem to be in the seller's favor.

We have been doing business with Westeneng and Verbeek real estate for years. Westeneng and Verbeek sold our old house and delivered two excellent appraisal reports for our renovations. When you visit one of the branches, you will be warmly received and customer experience and service are paramount.
