I would like to express my appreciation for NMG Wonen. Two months ago, I found myself in an urgent situation and was urgently looking for housing. After responding to a property advertisement and explaining my personal circumstances via email, I was quickly contacted and informed that the property had been reserved for me. I found this experience very pleasant and helpful. Initially, I was somewhat hesitant due to the negative experiences shared online. My own experience, however, is completely different. The communication has remained clear and professional to date, and I find the organization flexible and understanding. Furthermore, the handover of the property has been carefully handled, and repair requests are dealt with quickly and adequately. Questions are answered promptly, and I am always spoken to correctly and politely. I would also like to thank Iris Kuipers separately for the pleasant and professional communication. For this reason, I would like to emphasize that my experience with NMG Wonen is very positive. It is important that good experiences are also shared. As for me: 5 stars! ⭐️

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!! As a tenant, I can say from my own experience that they are absolutely terrible and only interested in your money. We moved into our apartment in November 2025, and during the move, it turned out there were multiple leaks in the ceiling and mold grew in the walls of our bedroom, making it uninhabitable. The real estate agent told us that this problem had already been documented in the inspection report of the previous tenant. We went ourselves, chased contractors and NMG countless times, but the problem has not yet been resolved. It is now April 2026 (6 months later) and we are still living with mold in our bedroom. Not only has it not been resolved, but we have also received no compensation, rent reduction or other adjustments while dealing with this. Then NMG had the audacity to email us that they are going to increase our rent in July 2026 - I don't even know for sure if this is legal, since our rental contract is still less than 12 months old. Do not rent from this real estate agent. They don't care about your health or well-being and are literally the worst rental company I have ever rented from. Never again.

Very bad landlord. I live in an apartment in Haren. They charge points for all sorts of things that I don't have. This has already been reported twice (since December 2025) and there has been no response whatsoever. On the phone, you can't get anyone who can help, only switchboard operators who can pass things on internally, and then nothing happens. Moreover, it seems the energy label doesn't match either. I have label D, while better insulated apartments in the same building have label G. They don't respond to this either. Apartments that are empty are also not being rented anymore, so it seems like they want to have the buildings empty and therefore no longer help the landlords. The rent is (of course) increased every year without fail.

Give yourself a pleasure and avoid this party if possible. Should you have to rent from them anyway, keep in mind that your deposit is just money thrown away. After terminating the rental you will never hear from them again, no matter how many emails you send about it.

I have - like many others - had very negative experiences with this company. We waited half a year for our deposit (2700 euros). After having legal assistance, they eventually offered a compensation for the damage. The kitchen, which had only some damage to the cutlery (around 20 euros) and no other damage, was completely replaced for more than 4000 euros. I therefore will not get my deposit back. This is of course absolutely not in accordance with the law and regulations, so we will go to court. I suspect another long legal process. In the end, I have no doubt that we will get it back but all this hassle is really annoying. If you have a choice to rent somewhere else, I really want to emphasize to everyone: go somewhere else.

Never rent anything from NMG. We live in the Naritaweg building and people have to live in fear of illegal subtenants who threaten residents, commit vandalism, cause disturbances, and use a lot of drugs in the stairwell.
