Due to a coincidence of circumstances (illness, absence/vacations) several people were involved. We saw this as an advantage when choosing a real estate agent (multiple locations, staff, continuity). This was not fully realized however (not called back, because it was a 'foreign phone number').

Actually, we weren't planning on moving at all, until we saw the gem on Groenendalstraat pass by on Facebook. We fell in love with the location instantly and immediately planned a viewing. Just one day later, we walked through the property with Chris and immediately saw what we could do with it. The viewing with Chris went smoothly, he also gave us a bit of guidance regarding the bids. This allowed us to quickly reach an agreement with the selling party.

Clear information & photos

Real estate agency Hoekstra's branch in Leeuwarden has removed its Google page because the reviews are still below 1 star 😂😂 but still wants to briefly refer to how incredibly bad those people are at their work. When renting properties, you’re treated like a small child and they almost laugh at you (this really happened). Buying properties is reasonably… no, it's also really terrible. Hoekstra has a monopoly position in the market; they can do whatever they want unfortunately.

Think carefully whether you really want to sell your house through this agency. They don't only have the seller's interest at heart but also, importantly, how do we avoid getting even busier because we’ll still get our money anyway.

I am VERY dissatisfied with the unprofessional way things have been handled and certainly also with the settlement of finances! Good for themselves, bad for the selling client!!!! They don't know anything about market value either. They prefer to sell quickly and pocket commission and move on to the next seller. I have done more work than the real estate agent has... DO NOT GET INVOLVED!!!!!!!!!!!!

What are they unprofessional here and especially impersonal! Appointment made to view the house, for 2 days later. Emailed just before time, house already sold. But they had 2 identical houses for sale, which were not officially for sale yet. They pointed us towards those, along with a few other viewers, because it was quite sad for them, they said. But these turned out to be more than €6000,- more expensive, and even less tidy. Without us being informed of that. Ultimately, none of the viewers went along with this (fortunately). And now they are suddenly offering the same house €15,000 less on Funda. Everyone has their own way of doing things, you know. But that's not how you treat people! Very unprofessional and amateurish. In this day and age, it is difficult for a buyer to get in between. This real estate agent abuses their current position as selling broker, against the potential buyers and that is disappointing. Other brokers handle this very differently. They use an inscription, at least give buyers a fair chance. And ultimately the sellers too. Apparently you have forgotten the crisis time.

Even after we expressed doubts about the asking price, he stood by his correct assessment. I find this very skilled and professional, as he personally had no interest in a higher asking price. After each viewing, there was also clear feedback with consultation. The photos and videos/virtual tour were created by an expert external company. We would recommend this realtor when selling your home.

Well what an experience this realtor was. I'm talking about E van Netten. We bought a house through E van Netten. Fine negotiations, I won’t say anything against that. But when we signed the preliminary purchase agreement, the misery began. First, it turned out the purchase contract wasn't valid because the sellers were dealing with bankruptcy. Then it was valid again, but we were told there was a lien on the house. All of this was known to the realtor, but yes, they prefer to keep that from you. When I naturally didn’t react positively, all sorts of accusations were thrown at me. Legal assistance was engaged because it went above our heads. Well, ultimately a transfer would still take place and on that day during the final inspection we made it clear to the realtor how we thought about the whole affair. What an incredible idiot the wallpaper installer was standing opposite us then. I’ve never seen anyone act in such a childish way. Really not normal. He ensured that what should have been a celebration turned into a nightmare. All the anticipation of moving was gone. Even the notary was quite impressed with how things had gone, and I assume notaries see a lot. I would think very carefully whether you really want to go into business with this agency.
