The house of my father had to be resold after his death to the housing foundation Kleurrijk Wonen, because it was once a social ownership home. The Foundation then offers a choice of 4 real estate agents, Nieuwdorp being one of them. They did arrange the valuation quickly, but we found the assessment extremely low. After that, we had to have a reassessment done where the assessed value turned out to be as much as 11% higher! Whether Nieuwdorp completely lacks understanding of the value of homes, or whether they do not assess independently, I don't know. I don't know which is worse, but in any case I hope that others have something from this review. In a construction with mandatory repurchase, never take the first, supposedly independent, assessment for granted. It ultimately took us three months longer to transfer ownership, during which time the charges continued.
