What an incredibly disappointing and unprofessional experience with Hopman Makelaars. My daughter had viewed a rental apartment through them. After the viewing, they heard within a few days that she had been rejected. Subsequently, after 4 weeks, a phone call suddenly came from the real estate agent asking if she was still interested. My daughter was thrilled and indicated that as far as she was concerned, she could move in that afternoon. The real estate agent then said that they needed nothing further and: 'That it will be fine.' She was promised that the real estate agent would call her back later that same day. The next day she called them back herself, but the responsible real estate agent was not at work and her colleagues could not provide any updates. After waiting in suspense for a whole weekend, my daughter contacted them again on Monday morning. Initially, she was told that the real estate agent was busy and would call her back. Later that afternoon, she still hadn't been called back and decided to do it herself again, after which she spoke to another colleague who, after much searching, discovered that the apartment had already been rented out to a couple that morning. The way this real estate agent works is downright bad. They give false hope, don’t keep their appointments, and the communication is dramatic. It's incomprehensible that you treat people like this.
