This office engages in cronyism. I am a tenant of a building that I want to buy. This real estate agency performed an appraisal at the request of the sellers of the building. The appraisal was done without visiting and came up with an amount of 600,000 k.k. I then had an independent NRVT appraiser visit, and the value turned out to be 320,000 euros. Too bad! They claim to be independent but this is absolutely not the case.

Very bad experience with these ladies that I had taken on as a sales broker. It started with the wrong texts on Funda. On the day of signing at the notary (Friday), the ladies were on a company outing for a long weekend and I was told that signing could only take place on Monday. The buying party had also been informed that I would not be able to sign on the day of signing (Friday). Engel & Volkers therefore told both me and the buying party untruths. The lady who remained in the Netherlands had to go to her children. In addition, I independently incurred costs to be able to sign a correct version of the purchase agreement with the notary and there are still several demonstrable shortcomings. Never this agency for me again. No help, no expertise and little to no interest in their client. Of course, they collected the brokerage fee. Not a good advertisement for the real estate industry.
