This realtor visited us for an appraisal and a no-obligation consultation. Although we indicated that we hadn't yet tidied up and there were still some things to be done before we wanted to start the sale, and the realtor stated that this was not a problem for the appointment, he didn't seem able to look past these issues and we got the feeling that he had little confidence in us. Where comparable houses were for sale at an asking price of €225,000, he indicated that we could put ours on the market for €213,000 and should be happy if we got €210,000 for it. We went with another realtor and put our house up for sale at the previously thought asking price. Our house was sold within a few days for more than this asking price.
