We had made an offer on a house that was sold by Van Stralen. Our offer was higher and we didn't need a mortgage. Our offer was accepted by the house owners and we had already sent identity documents to draw up the purchase contract. However, at the last moment they changed their mind and opted for a lower offer, on the advice of the real estate agent. Extremely unprofessional and no reason was given, but the only logical explanation is that the lower offer came from a client of Van Stralen - which would be illegal. Please do not do business with this kind of dishonest, deceitful real estate agents.

Use of Van Stralen NOT! Real estate agent Joroen has misled and lied to us in various ways during the purchasing process, for example: 1. He did not put the remaining items on the list of things, despite us reminding him three times; 2. He asked my partner to sign the inspection form with the statement that the form was only for gas, water and electricity meters, while we were checking the house. After he had received the signature, he immediately told us that we had signed in a misleading way. 3. He told the seller that we did not want to sign the list of things and the inspection form in order to get the seller on his side. Fortunately, the seller told us everything! For your own money and time, stay away from Joroen Van Stralen.
