The real estate agent was easy to reach, but as laymen in this world we had to ask for a lot of information ourselves and the whole process was a bit vague. I think that if they had provided more information it would have been a clearer process. I found out that some real estate agents work with an app, which I also missed here.

On a whim, I walked into the office of DAM Vastgoed in August '24. There, I was received and assisted with utmost kindness by David. An appointment was quickly made. During the house visit, it soon became clear that I didn't need to look for another real estate agent. The connection and mutual trust were immediate. Shortly thereafter, the necessary steps were taken, such as hiring a stylist, a photographer, and applying for an energy label. My wildest expectations were exceeded when, three weeks after publication on Funda, the preliminary purchase agreement was signed. During my interim visits to the office, I was greeted with extreme friendliness by the receptionists. Today, three months after publication on Funda, the sale has passed at the notary's office. Undoubtedly, the 'market' contributed to this, but the professional involvement of DAM Vastgoed proved indispensable in this entire process.

But if you expect them to take the tenant's interests into account, then you really need to look for another agent because they are only concerned with the interests of the landlord. Via D.A.M. Vastgoed I tried to rent a house. I contacted them multiple times (by phone and email), but despite the promise of a callback, this did not happen. Regarding emails, it was said that they would be in the spam box, but I check this daily. In short, poor communication. Not a real estate agency that can be recommended.
