We came into contact with this broker as a selling agent. As the buying party of a property, they have given us an extensive tour of the property and so far we have always been helped quickly and kindly with our questions. Our house was sold thanks to a very involved realtor Ben Durlinger, who in our opinion did much more than 'sell'. A great empathetic ability allows him to find precisely that one buyer who suits the house. Excellent real estate agent

One star because you send flyers, which is unwanted. Preferably don't do this, or otherwise keep it per house and check yourself if it is wanted. In response to your post: Are you sending unwanted flyers and then I have to indicate whether I want to receive them or not? That’s the opposite world. I simply don't appreciate that and that is my right. Otherwise, I could start contacting all of Almere to see if they want to receive their flyers or not. Update 5/12/2020 They are still sending unwanted ones. Even after this review.

This broker has a property for sale via Funda, which was designed for an empty lot (photo funda). Simple questions by phone such as: “is the house already under construction” could not be answered. For that, one really had to first contact the seller, very peculiar. When I pointed out that I expected a realtor to have that info, it was stated that all information available was on the internet. In other words, check Funda and don't bother us. Subsequently sent an email with several questions. After 5 days still no response (there was a weekend in between). Curious to see, but doesn’t inspire much confidence. Update 04-02-2020: Still no answer to a few simple questions.

Max Mouritz helped us well in buying our new home and selling our current home. They provide good service, are clear, and take the time for you as well as being very helpful. We are very satisfied with this!

We bought our apartment for Airbnb and rentals - to test in Almere Poort - realtor= Martin Houtzager, Ben, Lisa Strijker, and Max were all enthusiastic in their own way and manner - partly because they thought along and gave us the chance to find a buyer. The buyer was found after 8 weeks from the network of VAn de Steege real estate agents from Almere Poort. We are super happy - and will look for a house - that we can build up or extend, and which they may sell. So on to Lelystad .. which is going to be hot !!!

Be warned! Nothing but misery, empty promises and flawed communication. You save yourself a lot of misery, worries and uncertainties by continuing to look for another real estate agent. We have decided after much deliberation to sell our house through ERA Van De Steege. The initial conversations went well and there was good consultation and communication. The commission that was asked was by far the highest of all the real estate agents we had been in contact with, but quality costs extra, according to our realtor at Van de Steege. After signing the contract, the photographer was on the doorstep within no time and before we knew it, our house was on Funda, super organized! However, this was also the moment that the misery began and did not end. - There was little to no feedback from the realtor about how the viewing moments went - The sales text on Funda missed a number of essential selling points - It was agreed that no open house would be held, but it was still communicated as such on Funda - The realtor hardly guided anyone actively during the viewings and tried to sell the house. The only words spoken repeatedly were 'It's an A-brand floor' and 'Yes beautiful'. There was no sign of actively selling the property, mentioning the favorable location of the property or the finish of the property. So there was no added value of a realtor in this. He was simply present and did little to nothing else. - Because we hadn’t been in contact with our realtor for several days, we contacted the office of Van de Steege, where we were told that the realtor had been on vacation for several days! This was not communicated to us and the sale of our house was not properly transferred to another realtor. We sent a detailed email with our complaints and findings to the office of Van de Steege, followed by a meeting. This meeting went well in itself. It was admitted that many mistakes had been made and that the sale had not gone optimally. We would get a new realtor and from this point on everything would be top notch for us. However, we were asked if we wouldn't want to write a bad review. Why then a bad review do you perhaps think? From the moment the above conversation took place, nothing has changed. There was absolutely no sign of guidance or communication and we had to chase after everything again by email and phone. - ERA Van de Steege forgot that the financing condition period had expired. We had to call this ourselves before any action was taken on it. During this telephone conversation, a promise was made that we would be contacted as soon as the date for paying the deposit had passed, but unfortunately this did not happen either. - After this, some problems arose regarding the deposit. This is partly due to the buying party, so that cannot be attributed to ERA Van de Steege. What they can be held accountable for is that promises are made again and again which are broken again and again. There is no communication and you have to chase everything by phone and email. It's a long story and not all events are covered. Ultimately, our house was sold at a market-conform price, however the entire process leading up to it was incredibly unpleasant. You have to keep chasing things, there are constant mistakes, there is hardly any communication from Van de Steege and promise after promise is broken by this party.

Mainly dealt with Martin Houtzager. Very helpful and proactive. Pleasant, reliable personality. Quick communication and correct handling. During the handover of the house that I was allowed to move into, he even brought a bottle of champagne. The office is neat and well-maintained and easily accessible.

I can say from experience that ERA Van De Steege really commit to you and selling houses is in their genes. Greetings, Willem de Feber.

A good real estate agent

We had good and regular contact with the real estate agent or his office for questions or comments. The real estate agent is expert. He knows what he's talking about and provides explanation where necessary. Furthermore, he has a lot of knowledge of the local market and which people are attracted to it. And most importantly for us, he managed to sell our house in a very short time.
