We (22 and 23 years old) were seriously interested in a property offered through Stapper Vastgoed. For us, this would be our first home purchase. On Funda it was clearly stated that the completion date would be end of 2025 or early 2026, but to our surprise, a fixed delivery date of March 31st suddenly appeared in the purchase agreement. This is not only misleading, but can also have major consequences for financing. Our mortgage advisor rightly pointed out that obtaining a mortgage is very difficult if the completion date is more than 9 months in the future. Instead of showing understanding or brainstorming solutions, we mainly noticed pressure to sign quickly and proceed with the sale. As if we were the problem for daring to be critical. This gave us an unsafe feeling. We are fortunately well informed, but you shouldn't think about someone falling for this blindly and later facing a 10% penalty because the real estate agent slyly implements different conditions than those initially communicated. The fact that you try to pull something like this over on young buyers who want to buy their first home says it all to us. We will never return here.
