I just sold my house with Schieland Borsboom as the real estate agent. As a client, you get not only good guidance during the sale with this real estate agent, but also access to an app group with various agents from the same office. This is to increase availability when you have questions or make comments, and there's always someone at the office to help you. A nice and personal feeling with this real estate agent. 2 weeks ago I viewed a house that was put on the market by this real estate agent. During the viewing, the agent said there is a structural report available. I asked if I could get it, because it wasn't among the documents I had already received. He said he would email it to me. I received nothing. The next day, I got an email from the real estate office with some general questions about service. One of the questions was whether I had received a welcome bag. That wasn't the case. Also indicated that I was still waiting for the structural report. I sent in the questionnaire, but heard nothing more! During the viewing, I found the agent somewhat arrogant and uninterested. Not a good experience, so. As a seller, I would not be happy here either.

Very satisfied with the sales process. We look back on the collaboration with a good feeling. The first conversation was pleasant and clarifying. Our wishes and ideas about how we saw the sale of our house were taken seriously and incorporated into the advice. From a professional and business perspective, a clear sales strategy has been determined, resulting in a successful sale. The presentation of our house on Funda and the website was distinctive and attracted many potential buyers. The team took all the time and effort necessary to allow all interested parties to have a viewing. The communication was respectful, accessible, and informal, which gave us confidence. Questions were always answered quickly, which was very pleasant during the exciting period of selling our house. A small point for improvement would be to be able to discuss by phone before launching the presentation. Via email it is sometimes difficult to convey what you would like to see adjusted. Also, a short evaluation moment with the broker who started the process, after completion, would be nice. After intensive contact around the viewings, the transition to 'silence' feels quite abrupt. Possibly this is common in the real estate world, but a personal closing moment would make the process a bit more complete. All in all: a pleasant collaboration and a very successful result! The realtor was difficult to reach. The 'for sale' sign wasn't placed at the house until after 2 weeks, but that's always the case with this realtor, I was told later. Dissatisfied.
In this time, people expect more and more speed. An e-mail should ideally be answered within 10 minutes, a WhatsApp message even faster. We understand that expectation well. I was very well helped at the beginning and the real estate agent was super friendly. After having had telephone contact, I went for a viewing. The house looked nice and I placed a bid. Unfortunately, this was outbid, and I subsequently placed another bid that was approved. The real estate agent had some doubts and asked for my financial advisor. After the real estate agent spoke with my financial advisor, he gave his approval that the property was for me to both my financial advisor and myself. My financial advisor and I got started and a week before the deadline, I received a phone call from the real estate agent to hear that he would be going for another bid. I find this very strange and unprofessional behavior since he told us that the property was mine and that I could start arranging everything. I definitely do not recommend doing business with them because their word is unfortunately not enough to trust.

On the recommendation of an acquaintance, we ended up with this broker (Ferdi & Team), and what a relief after previous disappointing experiences with another broker. From the first contact, we noticed that we were dealing with a very knowledgeable broker who keeps his appointments and completely took care of us throughout the entire process. This broker works efficiently, acts quickly, and keeps communication lines short, so you always know where you stand. The viewings were taken care of to perfection, and the communication about expectations and appointments was clear and transparent. In short, a fantastic experience and in our opinion an absolute recommendation for everyone looking for a reliable broker.

At the beginning, some things went wrong which led me to contact another broker at Borsboom. Once viewings started, I discovered that a different selling broker was walking around in my house instead of the broker we had discussed everything with. Unfortunately, this happened without any prior contact about it. Anyway, my house has been sold and I can be satisfied.

From start to finish great astonishment about the communication, never had such bad treatment with the sale of my house, deeply disappointed.
We always look at ourselves with great scrutiny during a review and have now gone through everything thoroughly, but we really can't find anything in which we fell short. We find the evaluation far from reasonable, as we have done everything to make the sale go as smoothly as possible, despite the property's history. We were the real estate agent, and you were the second agent for the sale, after the property had been on the market for 59 days with agent 2, and you were already very dissatisfied...

I have been working in the marketing and communications industry for years, and I am convinced that communication is the core of doing business. Unfortunately, the relationship started well but quickly deteriorated. The service was very poor. It feels like they are only out for your money. After our offer on a house was rejected, they kept sending us generic/automated messages trying to sell our current house (seriously?). We were also called by a photography company to make an appointment for photos of our house, without us having given permission and despite our offer on a new house not yet being accepted. In short, they want to sell my house without first helping me find another one. A very pushy sales strategy, in my opinion (I advise them to change this, or they will lose even more customers). This is how business should not be done. It's their loss, because we could have sold our houses through them and also bought a house through them.

'There was an immediate connection with the other broker. The broker took the time, carried out measurements and thoroughly inspected the entire property. His valuation proved later, after appraisal by another broker, to be accurate. Excellent. I don’t live in the area but the broker arranged everything well and it was a great collaboration.'

Rarely have I seen a slogan so at odds with the way a company operates: keep your head cool and your heart warm? In times when many companies are really trying to keep their heads cool and above water, this broker saw an opportunity to earn money even more easily. Under the guise of corona, buyers are asked to submit an offer within 3 days without viewing the house beforehand. While all other brokers in the region still make proper one-on-one appointments, they choose to schedule slightly fewer people (because a bid will come anyway with this shortage on the housing market). It is quite unprofessional to do this under the guise of corona, because there are alternatives to an open house (but those cost the broker more money). Also, it is not possible to obtain all the relevant information for submitting an offer. Questions about the documents are not answered, no wiser after telephone and email contact. After submitting a bid, you hear nothing for a week. In short, unprofessional and little communication. I am surprised that this broker makes so little effort for service in 'good' times and is not concerned with the image they leave behind with consumers, and moreover dares to use such a slogan. And while today’s homebuyers will be your potential customers in the future.
What a devastating review! We completely agree with you; pieces that don't come your way when you ask for them is a very bad thing. Unfortunately, you did not make yourself known to us and we cannot check with whom or what this was related to, so we can't draw any lessons from this specific case. Something we would gladly do, because we stand for every letter of our slogan and get very frustrated when it goes wrong, as was the case with you. Especially in this situation where buying a house now goes differently than normal, good and complete communication is essential. You did not write this review for nothing and therefore we cordially invite you to make yourself known so that we can call you about this. Although you suggest otherwise, our new way of viewing in Corona times actually flows from 'head cool & heart warm'. Also in these times we optimally represent the interests of our clients; this means that we want to realize the best possible sales for them. We are a large and active office and the market is still oversupplied, which means that we can safely receive 60-140 applications for one house. It goes without saying that it is irresponsible and unwanted to let all these people walk through the seller's house. Therefore, we have found a good alternative in consultation with our clients, which has since been adopted by many colleague real estate agents; Conscious Viewing. In short, this means that if the number of interested parties is too large to be responsibly shown around, we ask everyone to make a (indicative) offer and start viewing with the most 'promising' candidates based on this. If no buyer comes from here, the next candidates can view, etc. Viewing is therefore still taking place, but in a phased manner. Making a (indicative) offer before viewing sounds a bit strange, but rest assured, it does NOT mean that you buy a house unseen, you make a (indicative) offer SUBJECT TO VIEWING. This means that after viewing you can simply withdraw your offer, increase it, decrease it, etc. Of course everything is clearly explained to you in advance and we adhere to all regulations of the NVM and the government. That this does not, as you suggest, result in less work for us, but rather brings more work with it in both the pre- and post-process goes without saying. The communication in both the pre- and post-process is indeed much more intense in this process. And then we come back to the first point: this did not go well in your case. However, this is not due to Conscious Viewing, but due to the communication conditions which we again did not meet in your case. Sincerely thank you for your feedback and we would be happy to hear from you exactly where things went wrong, so that we can take action here.
I chose Schieland Borsboom because they managed to convince me that they provided a high-quality service. Their rate certainly reflects this, as they are approximately 2x more expensive than the average for the region. I was looking for a professional real estate agent who works meticulously, and I thought I had found one. Unfortunately, the result was disappointing. Ultimately, through Schieland Borsboom, I was able to buy a house, but that process did not go smoothly. I was assigned 3 different contact persons, with constant emphasis on all communication with the selling party having to go through Schieland Borsboom. A defect was found in the property during the building inspection. My real estate agent stated that everything would be remedied before the transfer. However, as the transfer approached, it turned out that nothing had been documented between my real estate agent and the selling party, and the response was briefly summarized stating that I should resolve it myself. It cost me a lot of energy and time with my legal assistance, and ultimately I just had to accept the defect due to the poor work of my real estate agent. Ultimately, I now have a house with a defect, which has cost me a lot of headaches, energy, and lost sleep. For the rate of Schieland Borsboom, I expected to buy a premium service, but I absolutely did not receive one. Even on my complaints, there is simply no response. Very disappointing and certainly not the professionals I expected to do business with.
