Very unfortunate, we had found a nice house in Wijchen but couldn't get the appraisal approved because it wasn't the current housing value. The house was put on the market for a much higher price. Nothing has been done to the house for 35 years! Nicely and politely asked if something could be done with the price. Everything else was already arranged for us. Nowadays, it’s only about the ‘highest bidder’ but not about someone's situation or first-time buyers who want to buy a home. How can starters ever afford anything at a normal price? I do want to say that Ben Janssen is a nice realtor and he at least chats with visitors who come to view the house. There should be more realtors like that. Open and friendly and not just looking who has bid the highest.
