This real estate agent does not respond to offers. On 8-1-26, I made an offer on a house at Vlietpolderstraat 30. The offer was valid until 12-1-26, but no response came. A day later I called the agent, 'they couldn't find the email with the offer in their inbox'. I therefore sent the offer again to the same email addresses and extended the validity period to 16-1-26. This time I received a proper receipt confirmation, but that was all. On 19-1-26 I called again to say that I had not received any response to the offer, which had now passed its deadline. The assistant reacted shocked and would inform the agent immediately. It is now 2 days later and I have still heard nothing. I have never had such a bad experience with a real estate agent.

Peter is responsive, knowledgeable, and the viewings were super organised. The sale was smooth from A to Z.
One of the worst experiences I've ever had with a real estate agent, especially with Shaniel Mangal. This man has absolutely no manners in his dealings with his clients. Because of him, I broke the sales contract with OV after I had paid the fine and really stuck it to my wallet. I would rather have paid extra money than do business with such a rude company.
Since August, I've been in contact with this realtor regarding the sale of a property and 2 months later, the property is still not listed on Funda. They state that there are many sick people. Annoying of course, but I shouldn't minimally/experience any hindrance from that.
Submitting a bid on a house where this agent is the selling agent is pointless. Our bid, which was the highest without any financial reservations, was still not accepted. What does the bidding log show? After the deadline closed, a virtually identical bid was submitted (with financial reservations) and these bidders got the house. In other words, the highest bid was passed on by this agent to the bidder and after the deadline closed you can still nicely submit a bid. All nice and illegal. Worthless profession.
Unfortunately, we have had a very negative experience with this real estate agent. The way of working is far from professional and transparent. Instead of using a reliable tool like Move.nl, we had to make our offer by e-mail — a method that raises questions about the honesty of the bidding process. The communication was unclear and messy. We got a strong impression that friendly purchasing agents might have received preferential treatment. We did not get any feeling of reliability or integrity. Our advice: save yourself the frustration and choose a real estate agent who is indeed open, honest and professional.

In the past months my house was sold via Van Oosterom & Verhagen. At the start a plan was made together, when it would be a good moment to publish on Funda. In the preparation for this the house was measured, nice photos were made and a text was composed. During this period also my starting points were aligned, regarding the handover and conditions. The sale started mid-November with immediately a large number of viewings and a good offer. However, it turned out that the potential buyer was not realistic and presented himself differently than his financial means. This has cost time, causing us to run into Christmas. You could notice this because the demand for viewings completely disappeared. In consultation it was then decided to temporarily remove the house from sale on Funda and restart in late January. This renewed start on Funda worked well and resulted in a nice sales result. The alignment over the steps with the still potential buyer went clear and in consultation. The result is that we have achieved a nice result, and where also the handover date determined at the beginning was met.
Two and a half years ago I bought a house on the Stiemensvaart in The Hague via O&V Makelaars. It has since turned out that all houses on this street (and on the adjacent island, Van Campenvaart) are suffering from serious leakage problems due to a structural construction defect. As a result, among other things, the façades and window frames must be completely replaced – in my case for an amount of over €45,000. During the legal proceedings against the sellers it has emerged that the agent Daryl (who accompanied the sellers) was indeed aware of this issue, as O&V has sold multiple houses in the area and this matter was also discussed during the intake with the sellers. Nevertheless, it was chosen not to inform me about this. My contact person from O&V, Shaniel, also told me nothing about it. If O&V Makelaars had acted honestly, transparently and with integrity, this situation could have been prevented – for me and for the sellers. Unfortunately, I now have to deal with extremely high costs and a long legal process. Therefore, I strongly advise against O&V Makelaars.

Via via we ended up with Van Oosterom & Verhagen for the sale of our house. The first meeting took place at our home and plenty of time was taken here. Our wishes regarding the sale were also discussed. Since we had already bought another house but would not take possession of it until 9 months later. The viewings went smoothly and we always received feedback, our house was sold in 2 weeks. There has always been good contact since the key transfer only took place 7 months later. This was our wish. I would definitely come back here next time because of the promises that were always kept and the pleasant and open atmosphere and communication.
Due to the temporary residence abroad, we were looking for a house in the Netherlands again. We saw a nice rental property through this real estate agent, but they couldn't help us because we didn’t meet the requirements. Very strange, there was no possibility. Poorly assisted and no effort was made to find solutions.

A friend bought a house through this realtor, Reinier. And explained that they need a mortgage for it. They consciously omitted article 19.1 regarding terminating conditions (so if the mortgage doesn't go through, they pay 10% of the sale price). So please read contracts carefully with this realtor!
