In October 2021 we contacted them to sell our ark. Rick and Hans are really very nice so everything seemed fine. Around February the ark was for sale. It started with delays because we were not satisfied with the photos. From that moment on, things actually became increasingly difficult. The added value of Rick as a broker is small. He does what he has to do but never comes up with an idea or initiative. We tried to discuss this with them but without result. Ultimately, we received a phone call that he would give us another broker. The timing was dramatic for us. Within an hour the ark disappeared from Funda while it used to take days to change something online. From first hand we have learned that interested parties, who had previously seen the ark online and made contact with them about it, were not helped further. Really scandalous! Ultimately, our ark was sold a month later, note that via a rental broker. We advise everyone not to go into business with AWN, especially now that the sales market is slightly more difficult, you have nothing from a broker who works like this!

The man isn't honest; everything he sells is great, but when he has to assess an ark that a customer of his wants to buy, he criticizes everything to lower the price so he can get a pat on the head. Ugh.

I got to know Hans Willemsen as an honest person who acts professionally and can and wants to act quickly and adequately. What he has done for me is genuinely impressive. Due to circumstances, a ship had to be resold quickly. I was able to provide the assignment from abroad. Two weeks later, we were at the notary's office, and everyone there was extremely satisfied with what was achieved. I haven’t met his son Rick yet, but I know he also put a lot of work into this deal(s). It is simply amazing when you place an emergency/urgent sale order from South America and the ship in question is sold fairly and well within two weeks.
