After that, Merlijn became our fixed purchase agent: lots of advice (from his own experience!) about the construction aspects and subsequent costs of the house (which was nice considering we possibly wanted to buy a fixer-upper), well-founded advice about the eventual offer amount, and as the search progressed and we got to know each other better, he could also give us good advice on what would and would not fit within our wishes. If Merlijn couldn't due to his own obligations, Rob was ready for us, who guided us through the viewing with equal knowledge and passion. Also nice that the front office was so quick in making and rescheduling appointments for a viewing, thanks to Monique and Wendy! Initially satisfied. However, after a year of renting a studio of 26 m2 for 1 person, receiving an enormous supplementary bill regarding g/w/e (gas/water/electricity) of € 5.665,42. Quite sour without any interim warning (without your own energy contract you have no overview yourself) and especially when you only hear afterwards that when signing the rental agreement at the end of May last year, the landlord already knew that the advance payment amount of € 125,= per month was no longer sufficient. With block heating, you can be as economical as possible, but if the distribution key is not fair, as a tenant you are powerless.

The contacts went very smoothly and we are very satisfied with the way the viewings were handled: we were mainly abroad and Ludenhoff dealt with that very well. The bidding process (we went through a bidding process a few times) also proceeded to our full satisfaction. We received honest advice and restraint where necessary to temper our enthusiasm. Also, if there were questions in between, we could always find help, sometimes outside of regular working hours. If there is room for improvement, it is with the appraiser (relatively more expensive than, for example, appraisal via VEH) and building inspector for the inspection (report was meager) who were engaged through Ludenhoff. However, these points for improvement are marginal and we would, if there was a next time, definitely engage Ludenhoff again!
