A bad real estate agent who does not do his job well and on time.

After purchasing a new-build home through this real estate agent, we found it only logical to also have our existing house sold through them. This was not exactly a success. Everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. The photos were bad, the number of m2 was incorrect, there was poor communication and after 8 months our property was still not sold. Despite interim consultations, this real estate agent seemed unwilling to change his strategy. After a total of 10 months, we terminated the agreement with this real estate agent and entered into a collaboration with Noort Makelaars in Haarlem. Just eleven days after we reappeared on Funda, Noort Makelaars sold our house for a more than favorable price. Draw your own conclusions and think carefully before entering into an agreement with this real estate agent.

As the selling party, Tromp might be a fine choice, but as a buyer, I am very dissatisfied with Tromp. Tromp is far from honest about the condition of a property and provided incorrect information. A kitchen that falls apart after 10 years, but trying to present it as new... that's the level at which real estate agent Tromp talks about a property. And there are many more examples to mention. Buyers: be extremely careful and believe as little as possible of what real estate agent Tromp tells you. Do your own research and get good advice from external parties. Sellers: your property will certainly be sold, but I don't think in the way that everyone can appreciate.

Tromp real estate is very approachable. During the first appointment, a sales report had already been prepared. This included research into comparable houses for sale nearby or recently sold. The asking price was partly based on this. As a result, the realtor seemed well-prepared and it also showed that there is sufficient knowledge of the local market, as well as expertise from the realtor. The realtor is easily accessible by phone, even on weekends, although they are technically closed. Questions are immediately discussed and answered whenever possible. If further research is needed before an answer can be given, this will be addressed promptly and a response will be provided either by telephone or email. We only have one small drawback that we can mention: The buyer of our house had a structural survey carried out. It was not communicated in advance that both the buyer's realtor and the buyer themselves would be present. If this had been indicated in advance, we would also have asked our realtor to be present. Now that was not the case and afterwards we didn’t feel comfortable about it. All in all, a very pleasant realtor to sell the house with.

In September 2019 our apartment was expertly sold and to great satisfaction by Tromp Makelaardij. This real estate agent has a professional attitude and is very skilled in his profession. From the beginning of the sale and purchase of our home, we have been enormously well guided by expert staff including office workers, photographer, realtor, and mortgage advisor.
